We offer a complimentary service to check whether your plan includes acupuncture, and if your plan accepts in-network only or both in-network and out-of-network acupuncturists. Please go to our Contact Us page and email us the following information:
2) Date of birth
3) Insurance company
4) Membership ID number
For patients with other insurance companies who do not accept out-of-network providers, we work with insurance carriers by providing our patients with a Superbill. A Superbill is an invoice for your visit which indicates standardized codes for all of the treatments performed. This process requires out-of-pocket payment in full at the time of your visit. The Superbill can thereafter be submitted to your insurance carrier for full or partial reimbursement depending on your policy. If you wish to make use of this service, please check with your insurance carriers to be sure that Superbills are accepted.
