Protocol and Procedures for COVID-19 Safety


To ensure the well-being of everyone, we have implemented the following protocol:


Prior to making an appointment:

  1. Prescreening. We are currently not accepting patients who are confirmed with COVID-19 infection or have new COVID-19 symptoms*. If you would like to be treated, we offer Telehealth to assist you.
  2. Recent contact with someone with COVID-19. If you have had recent contact with someone with COVID-19 or someone who has symptoms of COVID-19*, please wait 14 days and confirm that you are symptom-free (please see list of symptoms below) before making an appointment.
  3. Recent travels. If you have recently traveled, please self-quarantine for 14 days and confirm that you do not have COVID-19 symptoms* before making an appointment.
  4. Making an appointment. Please text, call or email us to set up your appointment at 4156954835/blossominglotusacup@gmail.com.


          Your appointment:

          1. COVID-19 consent form. A COVID-19 consent form will be emailed to each patient prior to their appointment. Please fill it out and bring it with you when you come for your visit. 
          2. 2 hours prior to your appointment.  Please confirm whether you are positive or negative with COVID-19 symptoms* 2 hours prior to your appointment via text or email at 4156954835/blossominglotusacup@gmail.com. If you start to experience COVID-19 symptoms*, we will need to cancel your appointment and reschedule for another time. There will be no cancellation fee for this situation. If you would like to keep your appointment, we will offer a Telehealth session instead. 
          3. At the front door.  Please ring the bell or text me at 4156954835. I will come to greet you.
          4. Temperature check. At the front door, your temperature will be taken with a contactless thermometer.
          5. Mask. All patients are required to bring their own mask and be wearing it the whole time while in the building, which includes during their sessions.
          6. Sanitize hands. Patients are required to sanitize their hands before entering the building. Hand sanitizer will be supplied at the front entrance. 
          7. Payment. We will be using your credit card on file for your sessions and products. Please call ahead of time if you would like to add a credit card or make any changes to your credit card information.
          8. Punctuality. Please be punctual as we have specific times slotted for disinfection. Being late will cut into your treatment time.
          9. Waiting area is closed. Please wait in your car or outside the building if you are early for your appointment.
          10. Food and drink. Food and drink are prohibited in the building.
          * List of COVID-19 symptoms:

          • New Fever or chills (Fever-free means one’s temperature has been normal for 2 days without the help of fever-reducing medications such as Tylenol, Advil, etc.)
          • New Cough
          • New Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

          • New Fatigue
          • New Muscle or body ache
          • New Headache
          • New Loss of taste or smell
          • New Sore throat
          • New Congestion or runny nose
          • New Nausea or vomiting
          • New Diarrhea


          What we are doing at the clinic to insure safety and well-being for everyone:

          1. All commonly touched surfaces such as door handles, tables, chairs, clipboards, garment hooks, pens, etc. will be disinfected with a non-toxic EPA-approved hospital grade disinfectant throughout the day.
          2. Two air filters with PECO technology will be on throughout the day in the treatment room. PECO removes particles as small as 0.1 nm with the destruction of organic matter otherwise not trapped by a traditional filter and removes volatile organic compounds.
          3. There will be 30 minutes between each session for disinfection of surfaces and airing out of the treatment room. During these 30 minutes, the air filter will be on full blast
          4. The treatment room will be disinfected at the beginning, between every session, and end of day.
          5. PPE will be used to protect both patient and practitioner.
          6. The bathroom will be disinfected after every use.
